  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell peppers; sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic and sliced Cajun sausage; cook for another 3-4 minutes until the sausage is browned.
  4. Add rice and Cajun seasoning, stirring to coat all grains.
  5. Pour in chicken broth; bring to a gentle boil. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  6. Remove from heat, fluff with a fork, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
