Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 white fish fillets (cod or tilapia, approx. 150g each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the white fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the fillets and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. During the last few minutes of cooking, add minced garlic and lemon juice to the skillet, allowing the garlic to become fragrant without burning.
  5. Once the fish easily flakes with a fork, remove it from heat. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
