  • 1 lb medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 34 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt (for pasta water)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente; drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp seasoned with half of the Cajun seasoning; cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and remaining Cajun seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Toss in cooked pasta and shrimp; add reserved pasta water gradually to reach desired sauce consistency.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
