  • 1 cup plain full-fat yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 cup canned tomato sauce
  • 1 cup coconut milk or cream
  • Fresh ginger and garlic

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate chicken: In a bowl, combine yogurt, garam masala, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and lemon juice. Add cubed chicken and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  2. 2. Sear chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken until golden brown on all sides (about 5 minutes). Set aside.

  4. 4. Add creaminess: Lower heat and mix in coconut milk/cream after simmering the tomato mixture for about five minutes.
