- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups marinara sauce (jarred or homemade)
- 4 sub rolls
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
