- 8 oz short pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice; combine with the pasta and half of the Parmesan.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining Parmesan, and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
