Description

Indulge your taste buds with this Texas Roadhouse smothered chicken, featuring tender chicken breasts drizzled with creamy jack cheese and savory spices—a comforting delight for any weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer seared chicken to the baking dish. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Mix sour cream and paprika in a bowl; spread over chicken. Top with shredded jack cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Garnish with parsley before serving.
