  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell peppers; sauté until soft (about 5 minutes).
  2. Stir in minced garlic and ground turkey; cook until browned (7–10 minutes).
  3. Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Pour in canned tomatoes with juices; stir to combine.
  5. Rinse kidney beans and add them to the pot; mix thoroughly.
  6. Bring the chili to a gentle boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
