- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cook the Noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Brown the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned; break apart as it cooks.
- 3. Sauté Onions and Garlic: Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are translucent, about 3 minutes.
- 4. Add Mushrooms: Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
- 5. Make the Sauce: Sprinkle flour over the mixture. Gradually stir in beef broth until thickened.
- 6. Stir in Sour Cream and Seasonings: Reduce heat and mix in sour cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- 7. Combine Noodles & Serve: Fold cooked egg noodles into the sauce until well coated. Serve hot.
