Description

Chicken Parmesan Stuffed is a delightful dish featuring tender chicken breasts filled with gooey cheese and savory marinara, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, chopped
  • Olive oil, for drizzling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, combine mozzarella, basil, and half of the marinara sauce.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto one side of each chicken breast and fold over.
  5. Dip in olive oil, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
  6. Arrange in a baking dish and pour remaining marinara sauce over them. Sprinkle extra cheese if desired.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
