  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into oval patties or logs (about 4 inches long).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F) or set the oven to broil (500°F).
  4. Grill the koftas for about 6 minutes on each side or broil for about 8 minutes per side until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
