  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes (high-quality)
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery; sauté until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
