- 1 cup plain yogurt (preferably full-fat)

- 1-inch piece fresh ginger

- 1 cup coconut milk or heavy cream

Instructions
- Marinate chicken: Combine yogurt, minced garlic, grated ginger, and spices in a bowl. Add chicken and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Sear chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken until golden brown on all sides (5–7 minutes).
- Create sauce: In the same skillet, sauté diced onions until translucent. Add canned tomatoes and remaining spices; cook until thickened.
- Add creaminess: Stir in coconut milk or heavy cream, scraping up any flavorful bits from the pan.
- Combine: Return seared chicken to the skillet and let simmer for about 15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot over rice or alongside naan.
