Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and yeast. Warm milk to about 110°F and add along with melted butter. Stir until sticky dough forms.
  2. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, orange zest, and cranberries.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (½ inch thick), spread softened butter on top, and sprinkle the filling evenly.
  5. Roll tightly from one long edge into a log shape. Cut into about 12 equal pieces and place cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F; let rolls rise for another 30 minutes while the oven heats. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For frosting, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over slightly cooled rolls before serving.
