Description

Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and lay flat.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella and Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons of filling on each noodle; roll tightly and place seam-side down in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the rolled noodles and top with remaining cheeses.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
