  • 1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)
  • 1 cup cooked rice (brown or white)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add Italian sausage, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned. Stir in cooked rice.
