Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley), for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and shallots; sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  2. Pour in the white wine, scraping the pan to deglaze. Allow it to reduce by half.
