Description

Sweet and Flaky Cruffins are a heavenly blend of buttery croissant layers and sweet muffin goodness, perfect for brunch or as an indulgent snack.


Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Active Dry Yeast
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk, active dry yeast, and a teaspoon of sugar in a bowl. Let it sit until bubbly, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Mix until combined.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. 4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter on top, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and roll tightly.
