Instructions
- 1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk, active dry yeast, and a teaspoon of sugar in a bowl. Let it sit until bubbly, about 5 minutes.
- 2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Mix until combined.
- 3. Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- 4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter on top, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and roll tightly.
- 5. Slice the rolled dough into pieces and place in greased muffin tins. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
