Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (deveined and peeled)
  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Add the shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper, cooking until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  3. Incorporate minced garlic into the skillet, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Pour in heavy cream, scraping the skillet to combine flavors. Let it simmer gently.
  5. Add cooked pasta, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese to the creamy mixture, tossing to coat.
  6. Serve immediately with freshly chopped parsley on top.
