Description

Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta is a quick and flavorful dish featuring juicy shrimp enveloped in a tangy lemon-garlic sauce, served over al dente spaghetti. Perfect for weeknight dinners!


Ingredients

  • Fresh large or jumbo shrimp (deveined)
  • Spaghetti (or preferred pasta)
  • Fresh garlic (minced)
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, add spaghetti, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Mix in Lemon Juice & Seasonings: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Stir well.
  5. Combine with Pasta: Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss gently until well coated with the sauce.
  6. Add Fresh Parsley & Serve: Remove from heat, fold in chopped parsley, and serve warm.
