Ingredients
- Fresh large or jumbo shrimp (deveined)
- Spaghetti (or preferred pasta)
- Fresh garlic (minced)
- Fresh lemon juice
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh parsley (chopped)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, add spaghetti, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix in Lemon Juice & Seasonings: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Stir well.
- Combine with Pasta: Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss gently until well coated with the sauce.
- Add Fresh Parsley & Serve: Remove from heat, fold in chopped parsley, and serve warm.
