- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers and onions

- In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast until foamy. Add olive oil and salt; then gradually incorporate flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, combine crushed tomatoes with oregano and basil in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for about 20 minutes.
