  • 14 oz firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cube it once drained.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add bell peppers and broccoli; cook until just tender.
  4. Add cubed tofu; cook undisturbed until golden brown on one side (5-7 minutes).
  5. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes; pour over tofu and veggies.
  6. Toss gently to coat and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  7. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving over rice or noodles.
