  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper (red or green), diced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: chop onions and bell peppers, and mince garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Increase heat slightly; add ground beef. Cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Add diced tomatoes, chili powder, and cumin; mix well.
  6. Lower the heat and let simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes until thickened.
