Description

Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls are a delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and tart cherries, all encased in a crispy egg roll wrapper. These treats are perfect for any occasion, from family gatherings to cozy nights in. With their warm, crunchy exterior and velvety filling, they’re sure to impress everyone at the dessert table!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Egg Roll Wrappers
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Vegetable Oil for frying
  • Powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients on your workspace for an organized cooking experience.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cherry pie filling until smooth.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper flat with one corner facing you. Add 2 tablespoons of the filling near that corner and fold it up like an envelope. Roll tightly while folding in the sides to secure the filling.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until shimmering (about 350°F).
  5. Fry the egg rolls in batches (3-4 at a time) for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
