- Reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti or linguine and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
- While the pasta cooks, melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once melted, add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes—avoid burning.
- Drain the pasta, reserving some cooking water. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce and toss well, adding reserved water if necessary for creaminess.
- Off the heat, stir in chopped parsley and grated Parmesan until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately with extra herbs and cheese as desired.
