Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chuck roast
  • 12 soft slider rolls
  • 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 6 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the chuck roast with garlic powder and seasoning salt; sear in a hot skillet until browned on all sides.
  3. Sauté sliced onions in the same skillet until caramelized (about 10 minutes).
  4. Add beef broth to onions and simmer; slice the roast thinly while simmering.
  5. Assemble sliders by layering beef, onions, and cheese onto halved rolls.
  6. Place assembled sliders on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake for 15-20 minutes until warm and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve with warm au jus made from leftover broth for dipping.
