  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, sautéed onions, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let rest before slicing.
